Isabella was born in 1866 in St Andtrews, Fife (Birth Certificate included) with no listed Father. Later documents, Marriage Certificate & Death Certificate, indicate her Father as James Black (Occupation Railway Shunter) however I can find no evidence of any marriage between James Black and her Mother Isabella Black. There is no evidence of James Black and Isabella Black in the Scottish Census Records.
I wonder if James ever existed?
