30 October 1761. George Gregg is this Parish and Agnes Sloan in Cumnock had their names given up for proclamation in order to their intended marriage and takes three days.

Here lyes JANNET SLOUN daughter to HUGH SLOUN in Old Cumnock who died 16th April 1767. And AGNES SLOAN her sister late spouse to GEORGE GREGG, Smith in North Balloch uho died 24 March 1770 and the late GEORGE GREGGf burial place who that erected this stone.

There was a William Gregg b abt 1777 who married a Marion Mcmurray b abt 1781, both from Barr on 27.2.1802. Possibly brother and sister of William and Sarah (next generation)
