Erected in loving memory of our father ANDREW GREIG born at Clashculloch 17th Dec 1813 died at Halfmark, Barrhill 11th June 1885. Also our mother ISABELLA McILWRAITH born at Daljedburgh Mill 11th Aug 1823 died at Braehead Kirkinner 17th Jan 1904. Also our sister AGNES GREIG born at Mark 12th May 1842 (sic 1847) died at Glendusk, Pinwherry 28th April 1861. Also our sister AGNES GREIG born at Daljorrock Hill 31st Jan 1863 died at Braehead, Pinwherry 20th May 1895 beloved wife of the late WILLIAM BROADFOOT. Also ANDREW GREIG grandson of the above born at Buss, Colmonell 22nd March 1881 died at Lamdoughty, Barr 21st January 1908. Also GILBERT GREIG grandson of the above born at Knockdhu, Colmonell 21st Feb 1883 lost in action on the Somme 1st July 1915. Also MARTHA ROSS wife of IVIE GREIG died at Auchenflower Cottage, Ballantrae 29th Aug 1932 aged 74. IVIE GREIG died at Pinwherry 31st March1945 aged 87 years.
